For those who have never worked with clay before, we will start by getting used to its texture, we will tell a little about this material and the importance it played in the lives of Romanian peasants. After that, we will model a lump of clay, transforming it into a nest and a masterful bird, inspired by the bird-shaped whistles that potters used to model. To complete the work, we will weave dried herbs into the clay structure to bring us even closer to the idea of the nest. Because every house needs to be inhabited, we will beautifully arrange a small bird modeled by the hardworking hands of the participants in the nests made. The workshop is primarily aimed at families (children and adults), but also at all those who like to model clay and weave dried herbs. Duration: one hour. Now, when communication is much easier thanks to online communication channels, do we still send letters or greetings? If so, who do we want to send them to? After discussing the possibilities we have today to get closer to our loved ones who are far away, we try to discover, with the help of stories, by what means people in the past communicated with their loved ones who are far away. 10.30 Storytelling — The Tree of Life (5-99 years old), with Raluca Minoiu
I will start with a story from a long time ago. But if I replace the word "baobab" with "oak", you will swear that it is a silly story about friendship, greed, the power of giving and how man reacts when angry. The tree, sorry, not the man. Then we will walk through the museum and try to discover why the peasant considered trees so important that he even imagined his own life as a tree. And then we will imagine our tree on a piece of cloth, to bring a patch of wall to life, according to the old tradition. Venue: Creativity Workshop and Permanent Exhibition Duration: one and a half hours. Registration at atelieruldecreativitate@gmail.com

10.30 Storytelling – Dreaming well pillow (6-99 years old), with Raluca Minoiu
With cloth, thread and glitter we make a dreaming well pillow: maybe a dive in the sea or a balloon flight, who knows? We will start with a story about the freedom to dream, then we will sketch our own dream with pencil on paper. With the sketch ready, we will translate the dream into colors, with markers, on a cloth specially sewn to turn it into a pillow. Which the children will fill with their own hands and go home with a pillow that is only good for dreaming. Duration: one and a half hours. Registration at atelieruldecreativitate@gmail.com

Friday, July 18
10.30 Storytelling – Sound Map (10-99 years old) with Raluca Minoiu
I will share a story “received” from a storyteller from England, Jem, at a busy intersection, at dusk, standing on a green space in a roundabout, in Brașov. A story about sounds and noise and about being different. Then we will try to figure out how sounds act on the body, emotions, thoughts. We will frolic through busy intersections, fields and forests, construction sites, beehives, oceans and playgrounds, grandparents' houses or through a child's playroom, in our workshop. We will notice what makes us happy, what "makes us happy", what shakes us, what hurts us from the unseen, but so present world of sounds. Then everyone will experience the peace of making a map of good sounds. Let it be there, when there is too much noise around us. PS1: Be careful with what tone you suggest children come to this workshop. Not too dramatic, not too serious, not too authoritarian, you know... PS2: It's for adults too. Duration: one and a half hours. Registration at atelieruldecreativitate@gmail.com

Week IV
Wednesday, July 23
10.30 Large puzzle from small museum pieces (9-13 years old), with Ilinca Pop
A puzzle is an image that we build from small and mixed fragments. Usually, we take them out of the boxes where they are stacked and place them in their place in the whole image. But what if each piece told its own story, and together they would tell a new story each time, according to the imagination of those who join the fragments? After walking through the museum, we redraw the museum on smaller canvas fragments, which we compose and recompose in a temporary installation, and then take them home with us. Duration: two hours. Registration at atelieruldecreativitate@gmail.com.

Thursday, July 24
10.30 Drawing in the museum (8-14 years old), with Ilinca Pop
We sit on pillows, directly on the museum floor, and draw what we see, feel or imagine

We stare at the objects on display. Amidst the peasant stories, the carved wood (in the shape of the princess-backrest, the cut-out heart, the two-headed kite) and the colorful threads woven together (can you even name each of the colors you see in the museum?), time slows down and the hand begins to follow the contours differently. We will not learn to draw “correctly”, but to look carefully, to notice details and to find our own way of putting them on paper. The workshop begins with a guided tour of several of the museum's rooms, continues with a drawing session in the museum and ends in the creativity workshop with the completion of the works. Duration: one and a half hours. Registration at atelieruldecreativitate@gmail.com

Friday, July 25
10:30 Guided tour with a return trip (10-14 years), with Ilinca Pop
We walk together through the museum, there and back. On the return trip, an architect guides you: she tells you stories, shows you objects and we imagine their secret life together, and during this time you draw them, take notes (or not!) and capture them in new stories. On his return, you guide the visit: you tell him how the museum looks upside down and upside down, what else you would bring to its high rooms, what he told well and what he didn't tell well — or maybe we'll hear completely different stories. Duration: two hours. Registration at: atelieruldecreativitate@gmail.com
